The Mondaine watch company was inspired by the blueprint of the iconic patented design of the Railways Clock, and turned it into a watch collection - with official license from the Federal Swiss Railways. Mondaine continues to bring the excellence of Swiss precision watch making with the simple, classic style of the Official Swiss Railway Watch design.

Swissness in perfection: The Classic impresses with its simply designed, polished stainless steel case with a clear design and creates a minimalist, timeless and at the same time modern look. The iconic dial is very easy to read even with a diameter of 36mm thanks to the hardened mineral glass. The red crown is a small, hidden design detail, the soft black leather strap gives this classic watch a sporty touch.

Design art at its best and a true classic: developed by SBB for the station in 1944, put on the wrist by Mondaine in 1986 as the Official Swiss Railways Watch. Since then, this watch is not a status symbol, but a statement. The linear design is inspired by the Bauhaus and stands for clarity and sustainability. Quite simply: the Swiss original.

All Mondaine watches stand for Swiss quality and watchmaking tradition. They are handcrafted in our factory in Solothurn, Switzerland. Every watch is tested there for water resistance to 30 meters and is given an international guarantee of two years.
